share a looped clip that showed his new haircut.
He called the new hairstyle the “Quarantine mullet” and added that Stefani “has decided to take it to the next level.. Stripes.” The clip showed Shelton, 43, facing down showing off the side of his new haircut.

The mullet had stripes cut into the side and the pop singer’s hands featured in the video. Stefani appeared to be playing with the bottom edges of her boyfriend’s hair closest to his neck.
Unfortunately, most of Shelton’s fans were not pleased with the hairstyle. A fan tried to lessen the impact of her comment by professing her love for both of the stars before stating: “that looks awful.”
Another fan tagged Stefani and wrote: “your cowboy is handsome no matter what BUT please no!!!” Someone else couldn’t help but laugh and pleaded with the pop singer to stop.
Another Twitter user noted that she “loved” Shelton’s original curls and demanded that his girlfriend put them back. A Shelton fan was willing to allow the mullet but prayed the hair grew out from the stripes.
All another fan could say was a long-winded “No” with two teary-eyed emojis. Although, Shelton was once named “People's Sexiest Man Alive,” he clearly wasn’t winning in that category with the haircut.
Some of his fans actually compared “The Voice” coach's new hairstyle to that of another famous person who has a mullet. They thought the country singer resembled the central character of Netflix's newest show, Tiger King, a.k.a. Joe Exotic.
“The Voice” and Stefani also shared an image of them posed together while wearing coordinating camouflage outfits. The pop singer’s look came complete with Crocs.
In the image, the country singer’s new hairstyle was partially visible as he looked straight at the camera. Shelton captioned the post writing: “Our first quarantine photo shoot.”
After going through respective divorces from their spouses, in April 2014, Shelton and Stefani started working together on “The Voice.” A few months later in November, the pop musician shared a photo of herself smiling with Shelton by her side.
The pair started making waves in October 2015, when they both appeared on an episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” They sang a rendition of Drake’s song, “Hotline Bling,” and seemed to be flirting.
Despite their continued denial that they were dating, it became abundantly clear the following month. A publication published a report of Shelton getting flirty with Stefani at a Maroon 5 Halloween party in Studio City.
