Chukie Edozien professionally known as Lynxxx is a Nigerian musician and entrepreneur. He released his debut single Change your Parade in 2009.Thereafter, he released other hit singles and was making it big in the music industry before taking a break in 2015. He made a brief return in 2016 and seem to have fully returned to the music scene with his official single, She Likes in 2019.

As a brand developer, web and graphics designer, Lynxxx was one of the judges at The Pitch Nigeria 2019. The Pitch Nigeria is a challenge organised by Sterling Bank for budding entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas. The best candidate at the event goes home with N10 million reward.

Lynxxx Early Life

Chukie Edozien was born on November 24, 1983 as the only son of the family. He hails from Delta State, and was born to Chief John D. Edozien, a former deputy governor of the then Old Bendel State, Nigeria.

Lynxxx attended Corona Primary School, Ikoyi, and Kings College, Lagos for his primary and secondary education respectively. He then moved to the University of Hull, UK where he obtained a degree in Business, Economics and Marketing.

Lynxxx Music Career

Lynxxx sings Jollof Musik. According to him, Jollof Musik is the art of blending various genres to make good music. After 10 years of being behind the scene, he released his debut single titled Change your Parade in 2009. The song became a hit and shot him to limelight. It also received positive reviews including frequent radio airplays and massive popularity in nightclubs.

Following this and a couple of other songs, Lynxxx released his debut album This Is Lynxxx in 2010. The album was a combination of different musical genres. They include urban hip hop, contemporary R&B, and the infusion of funky house. The album featured Wizkid, Banky W, Naeto C, Efya, General PYPE, R2Bees e.t.c as guest artistes.

Additionally, he released his sophomore studio album titled Jollof
Musik (2015), and in 2016, he released his third studio album, The Album
Before The Album.  

Recently, as part of his new EP project – Summer Time Vibes, Lynxxx released She Likes. It featured vocals from Boj and was produced by Spax Classic.

Lynxxx was already an entrepreneur before his breakthrough in the music industry. According to him, he began his record label with his partner Ikon due to the disappointment they got when seeking record deals.

Some of his established businesses are Syndik8 Redroom Studio, Syndik8 Denim (a clothing line), and Syndik8 Films.

Also, as a self-trained graphics artist, web designer and mobile coder, he established a media house that handles corporate branding and advertising. He also owns The Arena, a company that provides mobile solution, develops application and many more.

Personal Life

Lynxxx gave his life to Christ in 2015. After this, he took a break from music to concentrate on his business and his newly found faith. However, he made a brief come back in 2016 with the release of a gospel Song, Serve You. Lynxxx is currently single.
